MVB (Merrimack Valley Business), a publication of The Eagle-Tribune, will hit local newsstands next week with its second “40 Under 40” edition, featuring up-and-coming business people who are making a profound difference in their fields and the wider community.

“MVB Magazine is evolving into the business voice of the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire,” said Publisher Al Getler. “Our 40 under 40 winners are in an elite group and we want to celebrate their achievements.”

With hundreds of good candidates from which to choose, the staff of MVB had to work hard to whittle down the nominations to 40 people under the age of 40 who are making the region a better place to work, live and play.
“Wow, I’m impressed,” said MVB Editor in Chief Tracey Dee Rauh of the pool of nominees and the ultimate winners. “As a group, our recipients have made many lifetimes worth of contributions to the people they love and serve, and the communities to which they are dedicated.

Northern Essex Community College President Lane Glenn will speak at the event, as will Getler. The 40 Under 40 will receive awards and gifts.

Scheduled for noon, Friday, June 15, at Northern Essex Community College’s Hartleb Technology Center, the luncheon is, above all, a celebration of these outstanding individuals.
